Randy Sharpe, Broker/Owner

In 1987, Randy Sharpe founded Sharpe Real Estate on the historic Carthage square. As a lifelong resident of Hancock County and with an extensive background in agriculture, Randy has served West Central Illinois for the past 23 years as a licensed real estate broker and appraiser. Upon graduating from LaHarpe High School and completing his service in the U.S. Army, Randy attended Robert Morris College. He became involved in the family farming operation full-time before moving into the insurance and real estate industry. Randy continues to operate the family farm on a part-time basis, but is engaged full-time serving as a real estate broker and appraiser for Sharpe Real Estate.

Brenda Huls, Broker

Brenda Huls has been affiliated with Sharpe Real Estate since 1989, first as office manager and eventually becoming one of two licenses brokers within the agency. Brenda grew up on a farm in Hancock County and attended Southeastern and LaHarpe Schools. She later graduated from Carl Sandburg College where she received both Marketing/Mid-Management and Accounting Degrees. She currently resides in Carthage with her husband, Marc. She has developed a network of contacts throughout Hancock County during her 18 years in the real estate business.

Diana Sharpe, Sales Associate

Diana Sharpe has been involved with Sharpe Real Estate since its founding in 1987. As a full-time guidance counselor for the Macomb Schools, Diana’s involvement in the family-owned business has primarily involved assisting during the summer months with office operations. In 2002, she joined the agency as a part-time Sales Associate and continues in that capacity at present. As a lifelong resident in the Hancock/McDonough County area and through her affiliation with area schools, Diana has an extensive network of contacts to assist you with your real estate needs.

Ryan Sharpe, Sales Associate

Ryan Sharpe joined Sharpe Real Estate in 2002 as a Sales Associate. Ryan is a lifelong resident of Hancock County and a graduate of LaHarpe High School. He attended Western Illinois University, and recently returned to West Central Illinois after serving in the United States Air Force for four years. Ryan prides himself on providing a high level of customer service to his clients.

Barbara Cole, Sales Associate

Barbara Cole joined Sharpe Real Estate in the fall of 2006. She has lived in Carthage since the age of 2, graduating from Carthage High School (now Illini West) and going on to Robert Morris Junior College in Carthage where she received her Associate's Degree in Accounting. She and her husband, Joe, have three boys and own and operate their family business in Carthage. As a lifelong Carthage resident, she knows the area well and takes great pride in providing the highest level of customer service possible. She is ready to help with any real estate need you may have.
